Are you interested in learning to weave on a floor loom or has it been so long since you have woven, you need to start at the beginning? If this sounds like you, our Beginner Floor Loom Class is the class for you. Beginners will be introduced to the loom and all steps of weaving, including winding a warp, threading a loom, reading a draft, and weaving a variety of patterns.

Location: Manchester Historical Society, 175 Pine Street, Manchester, CT 06040
Fee: $355 payable by check or credit, includes fiber

Dates: Class meets each Tuesday, April 1- May 27, 2025
Time: 6:00-8:30 p.m.
Suggested Age: 16+
Note: this class and our Beyond Beginner class meet together. All beginner students will be taught as a group.
Refunds and Class Cancellations:
The Weaving Center reserves the right to cancel a class at any time. Should we do so, students will receive a full refund.
Registered Students: Please notify the Weaving Center as soon as possible if there is a need to cancel your registration.
- If there is a waiting list and the spot can be filled, a 3% processing fee will be deducted from the total refund if you have paid by credit. If you have paid by check and the spot can be filled, you will receive a full refund.
- If a spot cannot be filled, no refund will be offered.
