All of our one-of-a-kind products are designed, handwoven by our artisans and sewn here in our Hartford studio.

You can shop 2 ways with us:

1. Come visit and shop at 42 Woodland Street.
Shop Hours: Monday-Thursday 10:00-4:00 and Friday 10:00-2:00.
Here you will find our full selection of scarves, shawls, kitchen towels and table linens, rugs, wall hangings, decorative pillows, bags, accessories and more. * Our shop is closed 10/21/24 to 11/14/24 as we prepare for our 2024 Open House and Sale. Come visit us November 9-10!

2. Shop online. You can also shop a selection of our handwoven items on line at weavingcenter.org/shop. We ship nationwide and offer curbside pick up to local shoppers.
We also do custom projects – recent projects include shawls for a Bridal party, Tallits and a custom floor runner. We’d love to work with you! Email ha@weavingcenter with your project needs.

Winter weather: we follow the same schedule as Hartford Public Schools. If Hartford Public Schools are closed due to winter weather, we will also be closed.
Getting to the Weaving Center
​
The Weaving Center is located behind 40 Woodland St., a building with large white pillars in the front (look for the sign with #40-44). Look for our sign on the wrought iron gate. Once you exit your car, come to our entrance gate, and press the buzzer, we'll buzz you through the gate and our glass door (first door on the right inside the gate).

Driving Directions to the Weaving Center

From Interstate 84 Eastbound:
Take Exit 46, Sisson Avenue (a left exit). From exit ramp, take right onto Sisson Avenue for four blocks. Take right onto Farmington Avenue for four blocks. Take left onto Woodland Street. 42 Woodland is located .2 mile on the right. Parking available on the side of the building closest to Farmington Ave.
From Interstate 84 Westbound:
Take exit 47, Sigourney Street. From exit ramp, take right onto Sigourney St. Go .2 miles and take 2nd left onto Farmington Ave. Drive .4 miles on Farmington Ave and turn right onto Woodland St. (Immanuel Church on the corner). 42 Woodland is located .2 mile on the right. Parking available on the side of the building closest to Farmington Ave.
